A Prayer for Unity: 

Loving God, our Father, our Shepherd, our Rock,

We come before you todaye, humbled by the weight of our world, acknowledging our need for your strength and your guidance. We feel the weight of uncertainty, the sting of sorrow, and the constant battle against the forces of darkness that seek to divide and destroy. This is not about politics, this is about coming together despite of our differences.

But we remember your promises, your words that are a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We remember that you are near to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirite (Psalm 34:18). You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Help us to stand firm in the face of adversity, to resist the temptation to despair, and to trust in your unwavering love. Remind us that we are not alone in this fight, for you are with us, alwayes (Matthew 28:20).

In this time of division, we pray for unity. Help us to set aside our differences and embrace the cause of Christ, the cause of love and compassion. Remind us that love is the fulfillment of the law (Romans 13:10), and that we are to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave us (Ephesians 4:32).

We pray for your mighty hand to cover our free sovereign and independent nation-states, to guide our de jure leaders, and to bring peace to our public and private lands. We pray for the strength to speak out for justice and truth, to be a light in the darkness, and to make a difference in this world.

We know that you are a God of hope, a God of miracles, a God who works all things together for goode for those who love you (Romans 8:28). Give us the courage to live in that hope, to trust in your plan, and to walk in your light. In Lord Jesus Christ do i draw the authority to bring into fruition this prayer.
